About Us

Dr. DeVonda Elliott is the owner of Elliott Rehabilitation Services LLC., a substance abuse educational consulting firm based in Flowood MS. She also serves as a distance learning educator in therapeutic intervention in health care with local university and medical center. She received a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Mental Health Administration from University of the Rockies. Dr. Elliott has dedicated her life to improving the lives of working Americans and has a career that spans over 20 years in various aspects of healthcare and education including teaching in the legal system as a consultant. She also spent 5 years working as a consultant for Baton Rouge City Court Educational Program. During her tenure at Baton Rouge City Court, she also served as an educational consultant for AIM Academy for a Criminal Defense Law Firm.

Dr. Elliott is a member of several allied health care professions, American Therapeutic Recreation Association, Mississippi Association of Addiction Professionals. Also, she possesses certifications from the National Council Therapeutic Recreation Specialists, National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners and is a License Recreation Therapist through the North Carolina Board of Recreational Therapy Licensure. In addition to her professional commitments, Dr. Elliott is a loving and devoted aunt to two nephews and 3 nieces. She is very active in her community and enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as travel to different states.
